--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Henk's KLR was apparently stolen last night. Cape Town.
Only heard via SMS as he was supposed to bring the bike in this morning. Henk at the cop shop. Bike at the chop shop

Lime green & black '06 KLR VIN: JKA KLEA 176 DA 19969 with matching Polisport Sharp hand guards. Battery flat. If you see some ou' push starting an old, green KLR around CT please phone Henk on o8two six four niner fiftyseven thirty.

It's riding around with my spare shock! Fark!!!

Fortunately the bike was insured.

Depending on recovery or write off there might be a set of progressive Wilbers fork springs and a freshly rebuild rear shock (stiffer spring / reinforced preload adjuster, new seals, oil & gas, modified piston ring & increased damping rate) becoming available soon.
Fortunately I was only going to buy the blimmin' battery this morning as I ran late yesterday

I'll ask Henk to give some extra info about the bike as soon as he's back from the cops.

Every bit helps!
